JSW supports OEM and ODM cooperation for automotive brake products and system applications.

A project may begin with an existing product, a vehicle application, a technical requirement or a new product concept.

The first task is to define what needs to be engineered, manufactured and validated.

Typical Project Structure

Depending on scope, a project may include requirement review, application and interface analysis, product definition, structural development, sample preparation, validation planning, manufacturing preparation, quality requirements, branding, packaging and delivery planning.

Not every project requires every stage.

The process is defined according to the product, target market, expected volume and customer requirements.

Manufacturing Responsibility

JSW does not describe every supplied component as an identical in-house manufacturing process.

Its ISO 9001-certified scope currently includes the design and production of hydraulic brake calipers and production of brake hoses.

Other products may involve qualified external manufacturing partners or supplier-supported processes.

For OEM and ODM cooperation, the manufacturing responsibility for each major component can therefore be defined explicitly.

Private Label and Product Development

Projects may involve JSW-manufactured products, customer branding, application-specific product development or supply-chain integration.

Branding or private-label activity does not change the underlying manufacturer, certification scope or validation responsibility.

Product claims and certification references remain limited to the products and manufacturing sites actually covered by the corresponding evidence.

For a useful technical review, an inquiry should identify the vehicle or application, required product, target market, expected quantity or annual volume, required standards or testing, branding requirements and target project timing.

MOQ, development timing and production lead time should be confirmed after the project scope has been reviewed rather than presented as one universal figure.
