Validation Must Be Traceable

A test claim should answer four basic questions:

**What was tested?
How was it tested?
Against which requirement?
Who performed the test?**

JSW structures public validation information around those questions.

Product-Specific Validation

Testing requirements differ according to product type, vehicle application, target market and project stage.

Brake calipers, brake hoses, brake pads and complete system applications may therefore require different methods and different evidence.

A result from one product, model or configuration is not automatically applied to another.

In-House and Third-Party Responsibility

Where verification is performed internally, the applicable in-house process should be identified.

Where testing is performed by an external laboratory, certification body, customer or manufacturing partner, that organization should be identified as the responsible party rather than being presented as a JSW-owned laboratory capability.

Third-Party Test Records

JSW maintains external test and certification records relating to brake products.

Only complete records with a clear product identity, test scope and conclusion are used for specific public performance or compliance claims.

This prevents a report cover, historical record or supplier certificate from being interpreted more broadly than the evidence supports.

Project Validation

For OEM and ODM projects, validation planning should be defined according to the actual product and intended market.

Required test standards, sample configuration, responsible laboratory and acceptance criteria should therefore be established as part of the project rather than assumed from a generic product page.
