From Brake Engineering to Controlled Production

Manufacturing capability should be defined by actual responsibility — not by assuming that every component sold by a company is produced under one roof.

At JSW, the manufacturing scope is documented by product and process.

JSW's current ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system covers the design and production of hydraulic brake calipers and the production of brake hoses at its Chengdu operation.

Hydraulic Brake Calipers

Brake calipers are a core JSW engineering and manufacturing category.

Development may involve product definition, structural design, packaging requirements, piston configuration, mounting interfaces, manufacturability and application-specific requirements.

JSW also maintains brake-caliper intellectual-property assets and technical engineering documentation covering multiple caliper configurations.

Product-specific materials, dimensions and performance characteristics are defined by the applicable design and project requirements.

Brake Hoses

Brake-hose production is also included within JSW's current ISO 9001-certified scope.

Requirements for a brake-hose project may vary according to vehicle application, interface design, target market and validation requirement.

Regulatory or third-party testing claims are published only where the corresponding product and evidence can be clearly identified.

Qualified Manufacturing Partners

Not every JSW product category follows the same manufacturing model.

For certain brake-pad programs, current CCC certificates identify JSW as the certification applicant and producer while the physical manufacturing is carried out by designated certified manufacturing enterprises.

This distinction is intentional.

For OEM and ODM customers, JSW defines whether a product or process is:

designed by JSW, manufactured by JSW, produced through a qualified manufacturing partner, or integrated through the JSW supply chain.

That manufacturing boundary should remain visible throughout the project.

Manufacturing Evidence

Current manufacturing evidence includes JSW's ISO 9001 certification, product-specific CCC certifications, intellectual-property records and other controlled technical documentation.

Claims about equipment quantity, factory capacity or individual production processes are added to the public website only after their current status has been verified.
